Some of my photography rules...
Please raise your right hand and read this aloud. "I promise not to hold myself to such a high expectation that I forget to be me."
This isn't a JC Penney session. We will explore, fail, play, have fun, and (at some point between sneezes) we get the shot. Not because we were seeking it... but because it revealed itself to us. I use my acting training to "yes, and" anything going on and to keep you fresh and spontaneous. In short... we're looking to capture you.
Rule 1: Perfect is boring.
I love this photo. And the family loves this photo. Sometimes the photos that we cherish most are the ones that capture moments when things weren't perfect.

Rule 2: Not all people get the same portraits.
You deserve different locations, editing styles, and support during your session than the next person. My goal is to make sure I capture a reflection of you.
Megan Campbell - Singer
Rule 3: There are no rules!
We're just going to have fun. And, when we walk away, we'll have tons of photos that capture unique moments of unique individuals. And those are memorable.
